Shoe Towers

This morning Mrs Botha gave us a challenge of building a tower using our shoes! We got into groups of five and showed team-work by working together to build our towers. Once we had built our towers we measured them to see how high they were. We then reflected on our designs and thought about how we could make our tower taller. We had lots of great ideas about how we could make our designs better such as adding in our socks and making it stronger by putting shoes inside other shoes. We then used our ideas to see if we could make our shoe towers higher.  Aubrey, Clara, Sasha, Filia, and Luca built the second tallest tower measuring 51cm high! Keean, Caleb, Elcid, Kayson and Jesse had the tallest tower that was 57cm tall.  Here are some photos of us completing our challenge.
